    Wicked Broadway Stategy

When I purchased Wicked tickets through ticketmaster I was able to get "obstructed view" seats. I would do it again in a heartbeat! They were in the second row but on the extreme right side of the orchestra. We had three seats together but I believe that a lot of the end seats are considered...

Food Allergies - Vegans and Celiacs

As for room service, we ordered the cheese and cracker and fruit platter quite a few times and asked for no crackers, it was fine - no problems!

Food Allergies - Vegans and Celiacs

I ate GF and vegetarian on our February Dream cruise. It went fine - I know that vegetarianism is not vegan, but all of my meals were cooked to order and it seems as if a great deal of care went into them! They said that they could work with me and make me just about anything I wanted, and...

Can you give me a guestimate at how much AAA saves at resorts?

May I ask how to check the AAA rate? Is this something I do on the AAA site, or can I do it on the Universal website? Thanks.

    Rates for 2013?

Hi, does anyone know when rates will come out for early 2013 for on site hotels? And also, when booking a AAA rate, do I need to call Universal directly, or can it be done online? Thanks!

    Gluten-free on the Dream

Our family did a 4 night on the Dream in February. My daughter and I are both GF. We had our needs for GF food noted on our reservation, our TA did that. When we arrived on the boat we were directed to the Enchanted Garden for lunch, which was a buffet. We informed the person at the front desk...

How to eat gluten free at Universal and hotels?

I believe that I had some very plain rice and the refried beans were vegetarian, I would imagine they were dairy free too.

How to eat gluten free at Universal and hotels?

No, we had no reaction to the frozen butterbeer. The chef told us it was safe. I am very sensitive and extremely cautious. I don't know if they changed the recipe since I went in August 2010, but it was safe then. I would definitely call guest services and ask specifically about it. I don't...

How to eat gluten free at Universal and hotels?

I remember the chef said that at counter service locations we would have the best options at the International Film Festival place in Universal Studios and at the Thunder Falls Terrace in Islands of Adventure (the one in the Jurassic Park area). My daughter is a meat eater and I am a...

How to eat gluten free at Universal and hotels?

My daughter and I are celiacs and spent a few days at Universal last August. I called guest services before hand. They gave me the phone number for the head chef of both parks. He spent about a half hour on the phone with me telling me everything we could eat and where we should eat it from...

Two families cruising together, putting all kids in one stateroom, could it work?

That is great news! Getting the right keys for the room you are actually sleeping in/living in is one thing I was worried about!

Two families cruising together, putting all kids in one stateroom, could it work?

So, we are planning an upcoming cruise with several families. We are thinking of possibly putting our two kids in the same room with their two cousins, in a connecting room to us. Does anyone have experience with this? What would it entail? Do I have to have an adult listed in the room...

Dream - prices higher for inside vs. porthole rooms

That is not much of a price difference at all. My kids will be 16 and 13 on our next cruise - I don't think that they will lose any sleep over it! We all loved the virtual porthole on our February cruise. The 10A was great - having the split bath was a lifesaver! Have a great cruise!
