MY GOAL: To lose 40 pounds
Exercise:Ten minutes of exercise daily - with three increased workouts a week
Diet: to follow the diabetic diet
1/1/06: 40 pounds to go
1/3/06: 38.5 pounds to go
1/8/06: 35.5 pounds to go
1/16/06: 34.5 pounds to go
1/16/06: 32.5 pounds to go
This thread is for us to update our weekly progress - please post any discussion and comments on the regular weight loss thread - we want this to be somewhere that we can each quickly check in on how we are doing.
My Goal: lose 25 lbs
Exercise: a minimum of 10 minutes per day
Diet: Low Carb
1/1/06: 154 lbs.
1/8/06: 148 lbs. down 6 lbs. :banana:
1/15/06: 147 lbs. only 1 lb this week.
3/14/06: 157 lbs. I have really messed up and gained 10 lbs. :sad:
4/5/06: 150 lbs. Back on track and feeling good.
4/10/06: 148 lbs. :cool1:
MY GOAL: To lose 30 pounds
Exercise:30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week
Diet: eliminate most whites
1/1/06: 30 pounds to go
3/6/06: 26 pounds to go LOST 4!
4/25/06:25 pounds to go LOST 5! (I think I am on a real plan now and have some good support and a real exercise plan!!)
5/1/06 23 pounds to go LOST 7. Gained muscle, clothes fit better. On South Beach, it isn't easy.
5/14/07 LOST 10! What a great Mother's day!! :)
Well, with everything going on this summer in combination with being a tad bit lazy, i needed a new start.
A couple coworkers and i decided to do a weightloss incentive thing together..We measured and weighed ourselves on 8/25...We will do so again on 9/25 and at the end of every month. The deal is if we stay the same, or lose the weight/inches, its good, but if we gain, 10 dollars goes into the pot..At the end, the person that loses the most, gets the money..
This is what im starting at..
157 lbs (not happy with this at all!)
My Mini goal is to get down to 150 by Nov 12 (when i leave for teh cruise)
Ideally, id love to be down to 140 again..
I am drinking at least 64oz of water a day as well as exercising...now i just need to stay motivated :blush:
To lose 50 pounds

My NEW and IMPROVED Goal: (The National Body Challenge didn't like my original goal) BMI of 19.0; healthier eating habits; increased muscle tone, strength and endurance; better-fitting (or loose!) clothes.
My Plan: Modified version of low-carb, similar to South Beach based on the gestational diabetes diet. And exercise, exercise, exercise! DD is my perpetual "kick in the rear" -- I can loan her out to anyone else who needs a 5yo running buddy...
My Progress: Getting closer: BMI = 19.9 (down from 21.3).
Lose 15 lbs
Exercise: a minimum of 10 minutes per day, and at least 20 minutes at least 3 days a week ETA: I have now decided to follow the marathon training plan provided by Karebear1 as my exercise plan.

MY NEW PLAN: Walk 1 mile on the treadmill Monday, Wednesday, Friday ....with incline at 5 and speed at 3
[COLOR=Red]1/20 I haven't joined weight watchers yet but my mom and I are weighing in at my house every Thursday at 5:30pm. I have been a little slack with the treadmill this week since DH has been out of town.
1/12 lost 2 lbs
1/19 lost 1/2 lb
2/2 lost 1.5lbs
.......fell off the wagon but now I am back!!!!
4/27....220.....lost 3 lbs yeah Me :cheer2:
