How much did your room price increase since you booked?
We booked our next cruise onboard our last cruise last year, for a full year in advance (which seems to be quickly approaching!). We got the 10% discount for booking onboard. Recently I checked what our current category stateroom is selling for, and it's $1350 higher than what we are paying! Glad we booked when we did!

Our upcoming Fantasy cruise has gone up about $800pp in an 11C.

It was getting close to almost double for the Transatlantic stateroom we booked. Can't check prices anymore as they don't have any available even close to our category.

I can't check via DCL as they have our category as sold out, but Cruisefish says it's still available, and it's gone up $164 per adult since we booked it last year.

$1980 for 4c room 2a 2c western fantasy May. The price we paid is now the cost of the cheapest inside room. :scared1:

We booked our cruise on The Fantasy for next month in Sept. while onboard the Wonder.
We booked a 5B for $3,400 for 2 adults.
When we booked another cabin for our son and his girlfriend several months later, we paid about the same to get them a navigators verandah. Now a navigators verandah is over $1,900 a person.

We booked the 8/2 Fantasy cruise in November. It looks like our category is sold out for 5 people, but on Monday the fare for the 5 of us was $525 more than it was 9 weeks ago.

Our last two cruises over spring break went up over $3000 before they sold out completely.

Ours has only gone up $50 in total. :(

Booked in September for a May cruise.

We booked our Alaska 2014 cruise during our Sept 2013. It has since gone up 1500$ for the same cabin category.

We booked opening day for the Wonder. 5 night San Diego repo cruise to Vancouver. 2 adults, 3 kids ages 13, 6 & 4 for $3,509. It is now up to $6,800. Wow!!

TwinPrincessMermaids 01-29-2014 11:17 AM

We booked in July. Our category was 11A on 5/5 Magic, it was 580 and we got it for 522 (10% voucher). 11A is now 720! My friend booked 10C in October at 600 and its now at 720! My parents got a 6A around 736 and its over 856!

I expect rates to go down after 2/19 PIF date. If there are going to be any GTs, that'll be when they come out. Sure would hate to be the sucker booking now instead of then, after the sales rates come out! But I would be amazed if a GT could beat our rate (although does anyone ever upgrade because of the better rates that come out?) Our Visa rewards have paid for half our cruise, so that's really the best rate I've seen! :thumbsup2 But I'll take an upgrade if it is ever a possibility...

Our 2-night cruise to nowhere on the Wonder in May went from $1365 for 2 adults in a 5A to $2233 if booked today (wow - and I thought it was bad on opening day).

Our 7-night Alaska in August is sold out for our category (4B) but according to cruisefish, it has gone up from $3283 to $4130 per adult (not sure how much the kid's rates went up). Luckily for that one I booked opening day with 10% discount.

Our 4/12/14 Fantasy cruise was booked on opening day for approx $4600 with OBB for a 5E for 2A, 1C. Today it is $8222.25 for a 5E (without OBB of course). It's gone up approximately $3100 since opening day.
