Perfect Disney Meal?

I'm always trying to think of fun topics to post on the boards whether its best Disney Meal of 2013 or something else so I was thinking what is your Perfect Disney meal? If you could eat 1 meal with your favorite app, entree, dessert from different meals what would it be????

Mine would be.... (I know I'm cheating a little but...)

Soup: Portobello Soup - Artist Point
Sushi: Spicy Kazan Roll - California Grill
App: Wild Boar Tenderloin - Jiko
Entree: Ribeye with risotto and Truffle Butter - Le Cellier
Dessert: Banana Napoleon - Flying Fish Cafe

So what yours be???

Right this moment, off the top of my head...
Crab Cake from Flying Fish
Quattro Formaggi Pizza from Via Napoli
Dessert would be a sampler plate of Tiramisu from VN, Profiterole from Les Chefs and Berry Cobbler from Artist Point.

If we're going to cheat... ;)

Soup - Portobello Mushroom Soup - Artist Point
Salad - Cobb Salad - Hollywood Brown Derby
Sushi - Dragon Roll or most rolls - Kimonos
Appetizer - Teppan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops - bluezoo
Entrée - Salmon w/ cheesy polenta (no longer available :() - HBD
Dessert - Original Berry Cobbler (that has since changed :() - Artist Point

IMO, a relaxed, quiet atmosphere makes any of the food at WDW much better.

But (sorry to start a sentence with but ) really our most perfect Disney meal was the night we put a bottle of wine in to chill at our resort, then collected food from Epcot WS counter service locations. We carried it back to our room & turned on some music. That was a perfect evening.

Anything from V&As (so good!) and the wild boar from Jiko!

GovieMom 01-18-2014 07:11 PM

French Onion Soup from Chefs de France
Salad and Dinner Rolls from Liberty Tree Tavern
Mashed Potatoes and BBQ maple-glazed filet that Le Cellier "used" to have
With a piece of Fried Fish from Rose & Crown
Duo desserts: Chocolate Wave from Coral Reef and 'Ohana's Bread Pudding

Okay, I'm full now.:goodvibes

I like this thread! :-)
Soup- The cream soup at Biergarten was very good (to be fair it was the ONLY soup I ate in the world last year)
Entree- That is a tough one...I am leaning toward O'hana on that one. Normally I would say Le Cellier Filet, but we didn't eat there last year.
Dessert-I loved the strawberry cupcake at BOG and the pistachio Creme Brulee at Tony's (the ONLY good thing about that meal).

Oh, there are so many yummy things to choose from...

Soup: Cheddar Cheese Soup with Pretzel Bread Sticks (Le Cellier)
Salad: Colony Salad (Liberty Tree Tavern)
Bread: Pineapple Bread ('Ohana)
Appetizer: Arancini (Via Napoli)
Entree: Whole Steamed Maine Lobster (Narcoossee's)
Non-Chocolate Dessert: Coppa Di Brutti Ma Buoni (Via Napoli)
Chocolate Dessert: Jaffa Dunbrody Kiss (Raglan Road)
Drink: Sunriser (Victoria Lounge, AKL)

I had forgotten about the bread option I guess the Pretzel Bread from Le Cellier or the Onion Bread from Yachtsman would be my choice :)

Ooh, ooh, if we get soup & bread, I want the French Onion from Les Chefs with the baguette and butter that came with it when I had it!

tarheelmjfan, what has changed about the AP cobbler and when? I had it in Feb 2013 and thought it was great.

whitepicketfence 01-19-2014 04:27 PM
