??? for anyone who has used DDP at Flame Tree

I'm not thrilled about the dessert options at Flame Tree, but we love to eat there. On the DDP for the first time and wondered if they are able to be flexible and maybe do fries instead? Anyone ever done this?

I've never tried, and I doubt they will sub. Fries from there can be a snack credit though. Flame Tree is a must do for us ever trip! I don't mind their desserts, and my kids love them.

The only place I've ever had sub out ANYTHING on the DDP was Marrakesh (oh jeeze....sp??) in Morocco. They specifically told my DD to order off the adult menu if she wished.

I've never tried this. I did ask them to trade the cantaloupe that came with my sandwich for grapes and they did. Of course, that's trading a fruit for a fruit.

On another thread recently someone said they traded their dessert for fruit or bottled water. Many chimed in and said they had done the same. You could certainly try for the fries, and if nothing else, try a different substitution.

They won't sub a side like fries or onion rings for a dessert, but maybe fruit or a bottle of water.

Thanks for all the replies! Kinda what I thought....I'll probably ask when I get there just to see I get a little pixie dust but if not I'll just buy some fries or rings or use a snack credit.

I've had to buy fries there separately when on the DDP :(

You can get the fruit or cookie from the kids picks for your dessert instead as that's what I have done. You can't sub fries or any sides as others already said.
