Get Outside - It's October! - Exercise Challenge - EVERYONE WELCOME!
 
The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by You to You! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then Get Moving!


Post as frequently as you like and I will update the list throughout the month. Please tell me how many minutes you have completed along with your goal for the challenge. For example "I did 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, and am now at 60/1200".


As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post. (I've changed the colors for the Fall!)

At 10%, you'll be green
When you reach 25%, you'll be yellow
When you reach 50%, you'll be orange
When you reach 75%, you'll be darkred
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!


So here we go! Post your self-challenge and I will add you to the list!

I am challenging myself to 1200 minutes.

I walked 30 minutes today to and from court, in heels, with a briefcase. LOL! ;)

So, I am at 30/1200.

I did not meet my goal of 1000 last month. But I know that I can do that and better. I think the key for me is consistency.

goal - 1,100 minutes

a lunch time run and some evening ab. work = 43 minutes

43/1100 = 1057 left

After a disappointing September, I'm in again this month. My goal is 900 minutes. I went on a 34 minute walk today.

I started out today with 60 minutes of treadmill time.

I'm in again! Think I'll drop to 1600 this month since I didn't make last month's goal. Not off to a good start this week since I've not done my o dark thirty workouts. Monday was too stormy and we all decided not to walk, today I didn't get up because I couldn't fall asleep last night and wanted more than 5 hours sleep (6.5 is do-able!), tomorrow my walking group is only one gal and she'll be out of town. Sigh. I'll be back on track Thursday and no more goofing off on the weekends.

Today I just did a short walk with the dog. In a bit here I'm going to do some sit ups and a set of weights. For now I'm at

23/1600
