Parking at Miami

Just wondering how much it would be to park at the port in Miami? We have a cruise booked out of Miami on the Magic and have never parked there. We usually cruise out of Port Canaveral and since we drive from Canada was wondering what the difference in port charges for parking was? Is there any parking close by that has shuttle service to the port? Any feed back would be appreciated.

I did. I'd do it again too, but many wouldn't.

There is the Miami Arena where the Heat play. Behind that is the port. In front is a wide street, like 4 lanes each direction. This lot is about 2 blocks north of the big street, behind the buildings that front the main street.

Now it's not a great area. There were a lot of street people around the fence, but there is a fence. If someone wanted to break in and climb the fence, they certainly could. There isn't a lot of security. I drive a 2002 Honda. There are much much much better cars to steal if that's what they to do!
