Quick Service at Landscape of Flavors
So confused! We arrived last night and ate at Landscape of Flavors. All the kids got kids meals and I had them pick out a dessert. When we got to the cashier, she said kids meals include two sides but no dessert, so we had to use snack credits for the desserts. So confused! I checked at the front desk later, and the girl told me the same thing. Is this right? It doesn't seem right that adult meals would come with a dessert and not the kids meals.

Never eating there again, BTW. We have 4 kids and had to get in 3 different lines.

What both CMs told you is correct, the kids meals come with 2 sides and no separate desert. Kids meals are an entree, 2 sides from the Kid Picks area, and a drink. There are options like fries, apple slices, carrots, grapes, yogurt, jello, and cookies. Kids can get jello and cookies for their 2 sides if they wanted to. The kids meals are a LOT cheaper then adult meals so you get what you pay for.

About standing in multiple lines, this is how all the resort food courts are. A few places in the parks are the same way. You'll want to avoid Cosmic Rays and Sunshine Seasons if you want to avoid multiple lines.

On the menu page for Landscape of Flavor, most items on the children's menu state, "...and choice of two sides: grapes, carrot sticks, or applesauce. Choice of 1% milk, small bottled water or 100% apple juice. Cookie, pudding, gelatin, yogurt, french fries or soft drink available upon request." The chicken and the fish platters don't even offer side dish alternatives, just the different drink choices.

At every restaurant with a children's menu, kids can only choose from that section of the menu. In most cases at counter service places (e.g. Landscapes of Flavor) there will be a list of sides that they can choose from and depending on what is chosen it could be described as a dessert (cookie, for example).

At TS restaurants children have to order from the children's menu if on the dining plan. Their choice of dessert is also limited to the items on the children's section of the menu.

At buffets there are no specific children's or adults' items. Everyone (adults and kids) can choose from every item on the buffet.
