Anyone stayed in AOA family suite with 4 adults & 2 kids?

Has anyone stayed in an AOA family suite with 4 adults and 2 kids? I am in the early stages of planning a trip in May 2014 with me, my husband, my mother and father in law, and our 2 kids, who will be 4 and 7.

I think my first choice would be to rent DVC points and get a 2 bedroom villa at Wilderness Lodge. However, my guys love Cars and they would just love the adorable theme of the AOA Cars Family Suite. Plus, the family suite would actually be about $700 cheaper than the villa over a week. I'm worried, though, that we would all feel like we are on top of each other in the family suite? Since DH is 6 feet tall, I think we would need to take the queen, and then the grandparents and the kids would take the murphy beds and fold-out sofa. With the kids sleeping in the living room, I think we kind of lose the benefit of the living room/kitchen since the kids go to sleep first?

Separate Little Mermaid rooms could also be an option, but I find that theme so disappointing. I have read people say that they aren't "girly," but I just can't convince myself that is true and, for my boys, The Little Mermaid wouldn't hold a candle to Cars! (Why didn't they make the standard rooms in a more gender neutral theme, like Finding Nemo or Lion King? I don't get it!)

Anyway, I am rambling, but I do think my main concern would be with feeling crowded. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

We spent 3 nights at AoA in October. We were in the Nemo suite, and our group consisted of my parents, DH, our two kids (age 5 and 1) and me. We did great, everybody felt comfortable and loved the resort!! The cars section is amazing, we have great pictures with the characters.

My parents stayed in the bedroom, so they could have their privacy and space. I slept on the murphy bed with the baby, and DH and DS slept on the sofa bed.
We all had a great time, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again

This is just the answer I was searching for! We're going next year and I was considering a suite - in Sept we stayed in LM and ended up with connecting rooms with my parents which was nice becuase it felt like it opened it up more but next year we're going for a full week and they're coming too. I know they would want to stay by us and not pay for a suite for themselves so I was hoping for an opinion on 4 adults (our kids will be 4 and 6 by the time we go)

Thank you for your opinion. I really appreciate it! Decisions, decisions! My Excel spreadsheet is in overdrive!

I was happy with PP's response, too! We will be in a Nemo suite in 24 days (EEEK!!) and our group is myself, DH, DD5, DD3, my mom and my MIL. DH and I are taking the bedroom, because our mom's WANT to sleep with the girls. So one grandmother and one DD will be in the table bed and the sofa bed. Our moms are pretty tiny (both about 5'2, my mom is about 90 lbs and my MIL can't be more than about 120) so I've been thinking they'd fit fine.

I'm so glad it doesn't feel crowded! I doubt we'll be in the room much except to sleep, anyway. Our girls aren't nappers, and if they conk out I have a feeling it will be in their stroller.
