So it says for ts meals you get one entree and one desert and one drink. Is that one drink like soda or is it a specialty drink. Eg. At T-Rex cafe is it a soda or can you get one of the "big chills"? They are non-alcoholic so i one would think thats ok, but idk.

Also if it is only soda do you get refills while there? My brother goes through soda like it is going out of style... Lol

The non-alcoholic beverage generally refers to fountain drinks - soda, coffee, tea, lemonade - in other words drinks that are poured from a dispenser and for which you can have free refills, but depending on the restaurant it may include other things.

At some Disney owned restaurants it may also include milkshakes, smoothies (usually no refills), virgin cocktails or specialty coffees. We've had all of these at various restaurants. Drinks in souvie cups or with light up accessories are not included. You'll have to ask if there is something on the menu that you're interested in.

The non-Disney owned restaurants are less likely to allow anything beyond the fountain beverages because they are reimbursed according to the rules of the dining plan. Again, however, ask if you see something of interest.

Um, all the dining plans include an entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage at lunch and dinner. There is no dessert included for breakfast.

Perhaps you're thinking of an appetizer which is not included in the Counter Service or regular dining plan, but is part of the Deluxe Dining Plan?

I got it off the PDF they have on the WDW site

We were on DDP on our trip in March and ALL of our dinners included a dessert. I think it may be a typo, unless it is something new for 2014, even then, I would be surprised if they eliminated the dessert option for TS dinner desserts.

xera12 04-08-2013 12:22 AM

I really hope it is a typo because the desserts look Awesome!! :) :) :)

All of the 2013 dining plans include a dessert at Lunch and Dinner.

At one time there was a pdf of the plan that had some errors in it, but the current 2013 pdfs on the Disney site do include the dessert component for lunch and dinner.

If it suddenly changed there would be multiple angry threads on the Disboards about it.
