Best way to get to Grand Floridian?

We have dinner tomorrow night at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We will be coming from our hotel that is OFF SITE. Is the best thing to do park at the hotel? If we decided to go to MK after dinner could we leave our car there (at GF) and take the monorail over?

You can park at the GF but just be aware that the lot is actually across the street from the "entrance" of the hotel which is a 5-10 min walk depending on how fast you walk. You should receive a 3 hr parking pass which should still give you some park time after dinner.

Another option is parking at the TTC lot (or MK lot) and then getting on the RESORT monorail (then you won't have to worry about the car), the GF is the 2nd stop after the TTC and then after you go one stop to MK and then when you leave MK you just take the "express" monorail right to the TTC .

Do this. Unless you're staying at the resort, you cannot leave your vehicle in the lot and head off to a park. There are signs at each resort specifying that the lots are not to be used for theme park parking. Think of it this way- You get extra rides on the monorail (or ferry)!

Agree with PP-the second option is by far the best.

Actually if they are coming from off site and have to pay to park at the TTC it makes more sense to valet park at the GF (just a dollar or two more) , eat dinner and then go on to the park and return to the GF after MK to retrieve the car.
