2013 prix fixe?

Is there certain WDW restaurants still offering prix fixe choices on their menu's in 2013? I recall Captain's Grille, Kona Cafe, and a few others offering prix fixe menu options. I am not seeing them with the online menu's unless I am looking at the wrong areas.

as far as I know, the only restaurant that has stopped offering a prix fixe is Le Cellier.

Captain's Grille no longer has the prix fixe at dinner (I don't know about any other meal time).

Le Cellier, Captain's Grill and Kona no longer have a prix fixe offering on their menus.

As far as I know the restaurants that still have some form of prix fixe menu (there are variations) are Les Chefs, San Angel, Marrakesh, Nine Dragons, Monsieur Paul and Flying Fish. Marrakesh and Monsieur Paul have upcharges for their prix fixe and I don't think the FF prix fixe is on the dining plan.

That's interesting. None of the restaurants that still have prix fixe are Disney operated. Except Flying Fish, and they don't accept the dining plan for theirs.

Chefs de France has a couple options. Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package is.

The Fantasmic Dining Package is a little different than most of the other Prix Fixe menus that folks ask about. When you purchase the Fantasmic dining package, you pay a flat rate (or 1 TS for Mama Melrose and H&V and 2 TS for HBD) and get an appetizer, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic drink. As far as I know, you aren't limited on the menu choices (i.e., you can pick any entree on the menu), whereas the Prix Fixe at the other places are usually a separate menu with limited choices (e.g., three entree options). I believe they used to have a separate menu for the Fantasmic packages, but that was phased out a while ago.

I did not realise this as we are not doing the DDP. We have an ADR for MM/Fantasmic pkg for late Sept and I was planning on no appetizer, sharing an entree w DH, and kids getting 2 adult apps and sharing one entree. 5pm is way too early to eat all that food! Plus not interested in desserts. This is why we chose to go OOP. I might just cancel it then. I don't want to spend that kind of money and force feed ourselves. We just don't eat that amount of food.

Like, my kids love minestroni soup and i thought it was a gr8 opportunity to eat at a nicer NON character dining restaurant but still eat healthy AND save money. So 2 soups 2 entrees between the 4 of us. Way more than enough food especially given i am sure the portion sizes are way more than what a true serving size is (1/2c pasta).
