REOLOCATION: FoTLK

1) Rumor, no longer.
2) Festival of The Lion King is moving.
3) Fences and walls are erected at-and-behind Tusker House.
4) Months ago I mentioned the move to Africa, and now it starts.

Kellykins1218 03-15-2013 07:54 AM

So, are they closing it until the move?

nope im pretty sure its wide open until then

Given the show's popularity as well as how few big-draw attractions there are in general at AK, I don't see them closing for more than a day or two just before the new location opens.

The plans for the new theater location showed on the Florida Water Management District permit site a couple months ago, but the OP's post confirms that work has actually started.

That must be the sound of shovels I hear in the background-- I believe someone was waiting for them...

Yeah...always a good thing.

We are talking about a 15 year old show that was meant as a temporary "place marker" for....well...for
Something.

And now it's being rebuilt (at twice the cost...to be reflected in the ticket price) where it should have been.

So I keep trying to light my pants on fire with this one...but they must be flame retardant...cause it's not working

Do we know when it will move? We will be there mid May and the girls are excited to see this show. We missed it last time.
