Upgrading before boarding
 

I have read that some individuals upgrade before they get to port. How does this work? Do you just call and pay the difference between the current cost of your room and the cost of the new room?

When you get to the port, after checking in, you can go to the Supervisor's desk.

If there's availability, they can give you a discounted room upgrade. On low season, it's the best way to get to one of the suites.

You can also call before getting to the port, however, the upgrade (if available) would be at full price.
