Just booked the Dream for August 2014

So excited!! A little less than a year ago, we promised our Grand-daughter (now 3 1/2) that we would take her on an airplane, and swimming with the dolphins before she started Kindergarten. Somehow that ended up evolving into a trip to Orlando and 4 night Disney Cruise. We told her we would take her on "Mickey Mouse's Boat" (as she calls it ) but not until she turns five. When we first brought up the subject we thought she would "forget" about it and we would just revisit the subject as the time approached.

No such luck...every time she visits, which is about two days a week, she insists we watch any and all videos we can find on the Dream (esp Nemo's reef and the Aquaduck) and looking at pics and videos from our last Dream Cruise (with my DD)on the computer, continuously asking " Gramma, why is it taking sooooo long for me to be 'this many'" (while holding up her hand). The wait will be excruciating for her. Not to mention that with approx 79 weeks til we leave, with her being here approx 2 days per week, and an average of 10 times per day watching the videos with her, I will have watched them approx 1580 times before we leave (talk about excruciating) LOL. But the joy of watching her eyes sparkle and seeing her excitement as she watches them, knowing we will be there to experience it all with her...it's sooo worth it :)

How cute! You guys are going to have a wonderful time. We are taking our granddaughter on an Alaskan cruise in June of 2014 and we've decided not to talk about it until it gets closer because she still doesn't have a great concept of time...and she's 9! I can't imagine how it's going to be with your little one.

Looking like Atlantis this time around. We visited Blue Lagoon for Dolphin Swim with my DD and her BFF on their Graduation cruise on the Dream in 2011. It was an awesome experience. We just thought the added feature of the water park and the beach this time around, had a little more appeal. It isnt set in stone yet, as we still have 14 months to decide. :)
