Spinoff: Gene Hackman's best role

Spinoff of the typecast thread. I figure since Gene Hackman has been in almost everything, it'd be fun to see what everyone thinks is his best role.

And if this stalls out, someone feel free to nominate a different actor to talk about :rotfl:

My choice: Little Bill Daggut from Unforgiven

Coach Norman Dale in Hoosiers. Dennis Hopper was good in that movie, too. Great flick.

I didn't want to say anything because I thought, "Well, maybe he was part of the angry mob or something". :confused3

He was the blind man that offered Peter Boyle the soup. A very minor part but very funny.
