qsdp dessert question

Do you have to take the dessert?
If the restaurant wont swap for fruit,I don't want it- it usually ends up being wasted, but I'd rather not waste food.:confused3

I only ever asked if we could get a drink in place of a dessert and the answers has been yes, not sure about fruit as many counter service do not have fresh fruit on hand.

I know for a fact at the resorts you can get fruit in place of desert.

ASK ASK ASK. You never know until you ask what all your options are.

We were always able to sub a bottle of water for a dessert.

They have apple slices and grapes that are packaged, which are offered with the children's meals, I understand that some CS (even in the parks) will swap for that. But you will not know for sure what you can get as a swap until you ask at the restaurant. Anything offered outside the exact parameters of the dining plan is not consistent across property. And if they don't swap, and you do not want the dessert, you do not have to take it - but you've already paid for it, so you might want to ask if you can swap it for anything.

They had light and lively yogurt in several places and allowed a swap.

married2mm 02-05-2013 11:25 AM

I'm in the UK,and never heard of this yoghurt before.

Is it smooth, what flavour is it?

That could be a change from the water for some days.:)

It is jus a basic low cal strawberry smooth yogurt. Nothing to write home about, but better than little plastic cups of teeth squeaking carrot cake.

We were able to swap for the pre-packaged kids carrots in DHS. Not very exciting, but better than the pre-packaged carrot or chocolate cakes!
