I'm headed to the California Grill tonight for dinner. What's your favorite, can't miss dish here? OR, what item should I avoid? Thanks!

I had a shrimp tempura roll as an appetizer, the filet, and the bananas and caramel dessert. Everything was delicious!!! Enjoy your meal!

The Cali Grill often changes their menu based on seasonal offerings. My absolutely favorite dish here is some sort of Salmon on top of Spring Pea Risotto. Incredible. Of course, it doesn't quite feel like spring right now, so I doubt they'll have this now.

The filet was amazing and so was the pork with polenta!! :thumbsup2

I love the Snake in the Grass

While I personally don't care for CG, I will say that the apple bread pudding is worth getting just for the candied bacon ice cream.

For an appetizer, if you like sushi, the Dragon Roll is AH-mazing! If you are a non-sushi type person, the cheese board is really tasty too!

For entrees, gosh...anything really goes in my opinion. LOL. We really enjoyed the Grilled Pork Tenderloin, and the Oak Fired Filet is mighty tasty, too,

For desert? I cannot recommend the Bananas and Caramel enough. That dessert is TO DIE FOR good.

lucky you!!! we try to go to Cali Grill on every trip! The goat cheese ravioli is amazing. There is just one in the bowl but it’s bigger than a closed fist and its delicious. It’s a staple on the menu and I am really hoping they don’t get rid of it after the renovation.

The Spicy Kazan roll is to die for (but you have to like spice!). I don't think you can go wrong with anything at CA Grill. I'm bummed it will be closed when I'm back next month. Enjoy!

I second the goat cheese ravioli. Yum! We also enjoyed the cheese plate.

Lucky you! My DH, DD and I all loved the grilled pork with polenta!

We will be at the CG tonight too! I am getting the goat cheese ravioli to start JD then the beef. DH loves the sushi:cool1:

The spicy kazan roll. I dream of this. In fact, buy it and have it packaged to ship it to me overnight :) I swear I'll pay you back... lol! Enjoy!!!

Sorry if this sounds dense, but I noticed you posted this yesterday (1/25/13) but I'd read that the CG was closing on 1/6. Did they postpone the closing?
