Annual passes and MagicBands???

Does anyone know how MagicBands will affect those with annual passes who stay on property but don't have a MYW pkg? Im worried that if we don't have the band, we won't end up getting any fastpasses (reliving the horror of 2011 and Toy Story Mania:headache:...LOL). We are planning on 3 trips next year (2014), all on property, but with AP's. I'm still not sure if we will add DDP or TIW. I'm not even sure if you can still add DDP or if you can only add TIW. Just looking for some enlightenment on any of the subject matter listed above...:)
Thanks in advance and sorry for the rambling:goodvibes

No one knows yet. Rumor is that APers will be limited, but for now its just a rumor and no one knows how it will affect those staying on property with APs.

There are no guarantees when it comes to AP perks. Disney can add to them or take away any of them at their whim.

As of today, you can still purchase TiW if you are an AP holder. Room-only reservations using an AP discount can be made into an AP package (sometimes). The AP package consists of a room discount equal to the room-only rate and whatever dining plan you choose, which you will pay full price for.

FP+ is another story and there's a lengthy discussion about it and AP holders on the Theme Parks forum. Rumor had it that AP holders would get a whopping total of 20 FP+ per quarter. It was unclear if this would be in addition to those that onsite guests were entitled to or if it was meant to be a perk for offsite and local AP holders. Rumor also has it that Disney is re-thinking that idea after "social media feedback".

Thanks so much for your info. This will be our first experience with AP's:)
