Fort Lauderdale rental return in Miami

If I rent a car in Fort Lauderdale is there a good spot to return it in Miami at the Port.

I suspect it depends on the rental company. We rented a car from Hertz in Orlando and dropped it off at the Hertz location just a couple blocks from the terminal in Miami. Hertz has a free shuttle to the port terminals.
