In Room Coffe at POR
 

We will be staying at POR Royal room next month and I was wondering what
the in room coffee is looking like these days. My last trip, Oct 2011, they had the 4 cup drip pots. I like to bring my own coffee for a little in the room pick me up.... :rolleyes:

They have new Cuisinart pod ( not k cup) machines. They take a flat round coffee pod that they supply you with. Do a board search on coffee or check the POR thread for more details. We only used the machine for hot water in August so I can't comment on the coffee they supply.

If the coffeemakers are like what was installed in AKL last year, they take a Senseo-type individual paper pod. The coffee supplied may be okay for some, but we ordered our own Senseo coffee and had it delivered.

As PP stated, many people bring their own coffee, since the coffee supplied leaves a bit to be desired.
