Is there a cruise book tgat you think is better than the others?

I want to buy a book to get ready for our Fantasy cruise in June. Is there a book you recommend?

ANY book is out of date before it is printed. Things can change from one cruise to the next.

In general, the Passporter is probably the best. Still, I laugh when people say "But the Passporter said XYZ" SO? It isn't from DCL, and even DCL's info has so many inaccuracies that I have to laugh.

Your best, up to date info will come from these boards.

I also think the Passporter is the best. It is very good for a new cruiser, with info about the ships and the nuts and bolts of planning a cruise. It has become less helpful with itinerary info. As PP says, they (all of them) are out of date before they are printed. You'll get better, more up to date info about a particular itinerary here.

PassPorter

PassPorter is very best, in our view. We liked reading it long before the cruise, for planning purposes.

I too enjoy Passporter - get it every year. Love using it to help plan and just scan for information.

I'd agree with the others; Passporter is probably the best. They also give a run down of the excursions and ratings of them.

ITA with this! :thumbsup2 Laugh at some of the things that I read, but as far as maps, deck plans, and port information that can be helpful.

I'd go with the passporter as it has useful things in like instructions on how to open the balcony door.

Another vote for Passporter. It has a lot of great information. They do a good job describing each of the ships, onboard activities, restaurants, excursions, etc.

I, too, like Passporter. And they have updates online if you buy from them directly. (you don't get the next edition, but small updates)

We found the Passpoter's excursion information to be very helpful.

I too am a Passporter fan!

Among the available cruise books, I like the Passporter best.
