Via Napoli?
Is this a must-try or just okay? How is their pizza?
|
We're a family of five with very different tastes and dining preferences and we all LOVE Via Napoli. We're now reserving it for our last day or night of each trip because it's just that good. Friendly service, great atmosphere (high ceilings, hardwood floors, warm lighting) and wonderful food. The caprese salad there is just OK, but the eggplant parm is amazing - very fresh and better than any I've tried (and I've tried a lot.) Our oldest son and I don't typically like pizza all that much, but we love the pizza at Via. Again, very fresh, the sauce is tasty and the crust is light - not too doughy or filling. At the same time, my husband and two younger boys are very traditional pizza enthusiasts and they love the pizza too. Just can't recommend Via highly enough!

My husband LOVES their pizza. I also really like their food, it is much better than most Disney restaurants in my opinion. I really like the Chicken Parmesan.

The pizza is very good if you favor the Neapolitan style. And pizzas lend themselves toward sharing, so in Disney terms, it is a relatively affordable meal. I don't know if this makes it a "must do". If you can get great pizza for a fair price back home, maybe this isn't all that important to you. But I enjoy having good food at Disney World without dropping >$100.

We ate here December 30th and i found it to be okay. I had the spaghetti, my dd had their version of Alfredo and her bf had an individual pizza. Our bill was over 80, the food was good but for 22 dollars for spaghetti i would expect either a larger portion or at least a salad or bread to be included. The individual pizza was 17 plus 3 additional dollars for one topping. Since we are on vacation i dont mind paying more but i felt this was a tad bit too much.

You can order it by the slice at the take out window, i believe its either 6 or 7 dollars a slice

We did this OOP this summer and had pizza and salad. The food was yummy but a little pricey. Although I am a little out of touch pricewise at WDW restaurants because we haven't eaten there OOP in years and have done DDP. Would I eat there again on the DDP? Yes, I would but I didn't think it was so super fantastic that I wouldn't try others before going back. Hope this helps.:goodvibes

Love it! We split a large pizza between 3 of us. Pizza is awesome and so is dessert. Where in Disney can you spend $30 on a meal for 3? :goodvibes

I have never seen the pizza window open. We go in late Oct,early Nov, early Dec and early March. I think it is only open during peak times. In the restaurant they serve an individual size that is about 10 inches. Way too big for me. I take 1/2 back to our room for later!

You cannot order pizza by the slice at Via Napoli. Individual size is the smallest. Well technically kids size is smallest. If you have small appetites an individual size can feed two ppl. But it would be best if accompanied with a salad bowl. Btw the pizza is AMAZING. take a look at the pics in my link below. I loved both the four cheese and the pepperoni. Desserts are yummy too! |
As of December 30th the window was still there. I know the sign said it was 6 or 7 a slice i hope its not Disney pizza for that price

Pizzas are big and shareable. Salad is very good, I would stick with Pizza as there other entrees get more mixed reviews
