Candlelight Processional Dining Package- Is it worth it?

We are staying at the Beach Club Villas on December 30th and I hadn't been planning to do a park day on this day. However, this is the last day the Candlelight Processional will be held, so since we are walking distance to Epcot, I decided to book a package at Biergarten (a restaurant that we have wanted to try for awhile now) for 2:30, which means we will attend the 5:00pm processional show and have a viewing area of Illuminations at night. We will be spending 10 days in WDW but only have 4 day park tickets (plan to add on the park hopper after using our ticket). We have been to WDW over 20 times but have never seen the Candlelight Processional. Please share your feedback on the dinner package and show!

If it is a very popular narrator, yes the package is a good idea. I went to the CP last Thursday and around 3:00 I passed by the theater and there were already people in the standby line for the 5pm show. Although this info is from 2011, the article has a good breakdown: http://www.easywdw.com/category/worth-2/candlelight/

The show itself was absolutely incredible - the choir, the band, narration - all amazing. It was a very moving performance. We will definitely do it again if we travel during the holiday season.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Does anyone know how much the dining packages cost? Would I just be paying the same cost as the lunch buffet at Biergarten normally is? Or is there additional cost added for the VIP seating? I can't seem to find the exact cost listed anywhere....

Oooh I just saw the 2011 price on the above mentioned link as $32.99 per person, so I am assuming the price will be around the same. I am very glad I went for the lunch reservation. Huge price difference!

We did Via Napoli lunch, I think it was aroun $44 per adult, but it included app, entree, dessert and non alcoholic drinks.
