Does anyone have the recipe for the cake..
that you poke holes in and pour, I think, that thick creamy milk into. Is it condensed milk?
I saw a picture of a Christmas one w/ frosting on top and crushed up peppermints, but NO recipe. They shouldn't allow pictures on there if they don't post the recipe! I can't get it out of my head, but google didn't help and I'd love to make it!! Thank you! |
Do you mean like a tres leche?

The only one i know of is Jell-o cake.
1 box yellow cake mix 1 small box of any flavor Jell-o 1 small box vanilla pudding 1 8-oz tub Cool Whip Bake cake according to directios. Let cool completley. Using the end of a wodden spoon poke holes all over the cake. Mix the Jell-o and pour over the cake. Make the pudding and let set, when done fold the Cool Whip in the pudding and spread over the cake. Refrigerate untill ready to serve. * I use a 9x13" pan.* |
Sounds like one of the leche cakes to me...

There's a better than sex cake. You make a chocolate cake. After it is baked poke holes in cake then pour sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 jar caramel ice cream topping on the cake. Top with cool whip. You can sprinkle broken candy canes or heath bars on top of the cool whip.
