Discover Atlantis Excursion??

Hello, so I was planning on booking the Discover Atlantis at Nassau. I was wondering what is it, since I don't understand the way the website gives the info. Also does it include transportation or we have to go in a taxi, or a bus?

We did this excursion this past May and loved it! We met at Rockin' Bar D on the Magic and all went out together led by our guide all the way to the loading area for the vans. Transportation is included. Our driver was funny and nice and took us on a little "tour" and explained some highlights as we drove past them. Once we got to Atlantis, another guide got us off the bus and led us around the resort, through the casino and finally down to "The Dig" which is the aquarium. She explained each part and we got to touch a few things (like conch's, star fish, etc) and then we were led to another part to see the shark tunnel and some other exhibits. After you've gone through the tour with your guide, you were welcome to go back through for as long as you wanted and to look at what you wanted to (that was shown to you on the tour) and the van ran like every 15-20 minutes, so you just went back when you were ready.

Wear walking shoes! :) This was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation!

Thank you so much! I can't wait to go walk around Atlantis. This will be my first time so I'm really excited!

Make sure you look at the Comfort Suites next door. We booked a room there, hopped a cab, and checked in and out of our room. We not only got to walk through the dig, we got to go in the amazing pools all day.

What do you mean staying at Comfort Suite? We can just go back to cruise and sleep? I selected the Discover Atlantis Excursion, we only get tour of atlantis and the dig. We can't go in the pools of atlantis. I never asked about staying at a comfort suite at all. I don't think you are aware of what my question was talking about. And I am going on a 3-night cruise. My question was is when you leave to go back to the cab or transportation area, is if you tell people you want to go back to the disney boat, or is there a specific transportation just for the disney cruise people.

I think they thought you wanted the Atlantis water slide excursion and it is cheaper, if you have 4 people, through Comfort Suite than DCL. People book through Comfort Suite, get 4 arm bands to go to the water park and never actually use the hotel room...

Oh but I don't need to know that. Just my mom & I. I want to know about the transportation part, like how you know which one to go to?

i have a question about the Discover Atlantis tour...... are you limited to just the grounds and the Dig/aquarium areas or can you roam the lobbies/restaurants/shops inside Atlantis?

ETA: ok, perhaps I should have read the description more carefully. it seems the answer is right there. :D

After the tour, feel free to enjoy the rest of the afternoon as you desire: Try your luck at slots, blackjack or craps. Spend some time shopping in the Marina Village, or simply wander through the impressive lobby of the Royal Towers.
