Tables in Wonderland question

We are currently annual passholders and considering buying the TIW card. My question is..... do you have to show your AP when you use the TIW card? Our APs will expire before the TIW card does, and we're probably not going to renew them. So, the TIW card would be good for several months after our APs expire, but if we have to show the AP it wouldn't be worth buying the TIW card.

Anyone know?

Thanks.

No, you do not have to show your AP when you use the TIW card. You must have a valid AP to purchase the TiW card at the discounted rate, but the TiW will have its own expiration date based on when you purchased it.

Great thanks!! That's what I was hoping. We are going to WDW in Feb. and again in June and we want to use the TIW card both trips.

You will only need a valid AP when you purchase the TIW card. Since the TIW card expires approximately 13 months after purchase there will be a time period when anyone who doesn't renew their AP will no longer have an active AP. You won't be asked to show an AP when using the TIW when dining.
