Where do you buy lanyards and pouches?

I am looking to buy lanyards and pouches, for our pins and tickets.

I had planned to get our lanyards at party city, because they have some characters that we love, and I was hoping someone has an idea for pouches too?

I saw some on the Disney Store site, but they say Disneyland. Do people usually buy these? Does Disney World sell them in the parks? Any info and ideas would be much appreciated!

I think they do in WDW. I've seen ones for pins .

I purchase my lanyards from eBay and I normally get my pouch/ ticket holder at Disney resort gift shops when I arrive.

I was also considering buying the cheap lanyards from Party City for pin trading next month. I'm concerned about two things with them though.

Is 18.5 inches long enough to be comfortable on grown adults? How does the thin fabric on those hold up to all the pins?

How much are the lanyards at, say, Downtown Disney or the resorts?

Do they sell Lanyards at the local Targets or Walmarts? How do they compare if so?

Sorry for all the questions. We've never pin traded before and won't be back to Disney for at least 2 years. I don't want to invest too much into it right now, but I don't want my pins to fall off while I'm there!

I was wondering the same thing about the Party City lanyards. Anyone used them for pin trading?

Okay I decided to go buy a couple from Party City this morning. They were marked .99 each, but they must be on sale because they rang up .53/each. They don't have the pouches on them, but I picked up a pack of 12 from Walmart for $1.88.

If the pouches you bought at WM don't close, you could lose whatever you put in it. (I know this from experience!) The pouches they sell at WDW have a ziplock type of closing and are much more secure.
