2 new babies!!! photos added!

Well dd is now 5 days overdue!
I will be at the birth again,I was there for the other 2 grandchildren,Charlie and Lily! she's going to have her hands full as she's now a single parent, they split up a couple of months ago. But were on hand to help!

mandymouse 10-04-2012 05:14 AM

:cheer2: What exciting news Jeanette, please let us know when your DD has had her baby

Sorry to hear that she's split from her partner, but that's great that she's got you there for support and babysitting duties ;)

She is having a 'sweep' today, so hopefully we may have another grandchild by the end of the day!:)

these babies aye, keeping us hanging around, good luck Laura hope you have him/her soon as!:goodvibes
well she couldn't have the 'sweep' as the babys heart rate is too high, so she has now been admitted to hospital, i presume to go on the monitor to keep an eye on it. I'm not sure what happens next, whether she is induced what.

Still no news! she had her sweep last friday after being on the monitor, now 9 days over..:hourglass

How are you doing Laura any baby news yet? :goodvibes

Laurafoster 10-08-2012 09:25 PM

Oh that's shame, I thought they might have induced her when you said she went in. Oh we'll atleast you know it will definitely not be long now.

Still now sign of Baby Flower. Seems to be in no hurry whatsoever.

Because I had a previous caesarean my midwife won't do a sweep as I'm under consultant care. My consultant wants me to have another caesarean because "it would be so much less hassle". :(

I'd really hoped to be able to have a more natural birth this time around but the further past I go the less likely it seems. :(

I had been feeling quite upset about this until yesterday when I found out that a friends baby girl had passed away which put it all in perspective. I'll still be disappointed but a healthy baby is all that matters at the end of the day.

Worse case scenario is that I'm booked in for Induction (if they can break my waters) or a caesarean at the end of the week so I know that baby will be here by next week.

Laura have a hot curry, do some squats, jump up and down!!
good luck I hope you go soon. sorry to hear about your friends baby

well steph is in hospital, she's been there since 1pm today, still waiting to be induced. I don't know why they can't wait the full 2 weeks over then if no signs induce then.. I'm waiting for her to be in labour so I can go in for the birth, I have a feeling it could happen in the early hours tonight, if you know what i mean!:scratchin

Netty 10-09-2012 02:49 PM

Well she has had another sweep, sent home and going back in the morning to have her waters broken..

PJB71 10-09-2012 03:08 PM

Oh I hope this is it for her! I always feel terrible to be wishing pain on a mummy to be though :lmao: but I distinctly remember the frustration of waiting so I'm hoping its a contraction and NOT trapped wind lol! Best of luck to her (and you grandma ;))
