September exercise challenge: Looking to cooler temps in the fall! 35 challengers!
The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by you to you! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then JUST DO IT!
Post here as frequently as you like and I will start a list in this post and keep it updated as frequently as I can throughout the month. As you post, please tell me how many minutes you have through that date and what your total challenged number is. For example "I did 60 minutes on the treadmill yesterday, and am now at 60/1200".
As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post.
At 10%, you'll be bright pink
When you reach 25%, you'll be orange
When you reach 50%, you'll be purple
When you reach 75%, you'll be turquoise
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!

Hi there. I just joined the Biggest Loser Fall challenge so I thought I'd join this too for motivation. I'm not sure what number to start with because I've never kept up with my exercise minutes, but I think I'll try for 900 minutes. That would be 30 minutes for every day of September.
Can't wait to see if I make it!:faint:

Thanks again Ted. That was great motivation last month to keep moving. I didn't meet my goal thanks in part to an injury but I kept finding other ways to get minutes without aggravating my knee/calf.
Praying to stay healthy this month and meet or exceed the 1600 minute goal.

I'm in for 1000.
Mom wants to get back into walking so I will meet her at the track after she's done with work and I'm done with dropping kids off.
I'm in again! Think I'll only do 1700 this month since school/work starts back up.
I cannot believe my walking partner said she'd get up and walk with me at 5:30 AM!!! :faint: She wasn't too thrilled when she had to change to 7 AM a year or so again, so I'm amazed she's willing to try this. Now to see if the other gal (who's currently out of town) who walks with us MWF is willing to do that! :stir:
I'm going to try again. Each month I keep getting closer and closer to my goal of 700 minutes

I've had a good start today. 10 minutes of yoga this morning and a 2 mile walk with my kids. I pushed the little one in the stroller and the older one walked/ran about 1.25 miles, which I thought wasn't bad for a itty bitty 5 year old.
9/1 60 minutes Total 60/900
I just did 67 minutes of run/walk/run.
Thanks again Ted!!! I fell off a bit last month because I injured my calf. But, I'm keeping the same numbers and hope to hit it this month. Please put me down for 1200.
Hey Ted. Thank you for doing this again this month! Having this goal has really helped me stay on track!!
I did pretty good last month but I want to challenge myself a bit more this month so I'm going to up my goal to 1800 minutes.
Got off to a good start this morning with a nice long walk, 120 minutes.
