"Insanity is my Middle Name" - Impromptu Easter Weekend Trip -Update 4/23 - Wishes!
I noticed I could still get a passholder discount room for Easter Weekend. I have the 3 days off of work. I've been pulling extra long hours since I came back from my last trip & I need a break. A break during the 2nd or 3rd busiest time of the year at the world? Yeah, I'm crazy.

Darn those passholder discounts are dangerous ;)
Hope you have fun on your "break". |
You may be crazy, but I'll sure enjoy the fruits of your labor (meaning: food porn!) Have fun!!!

~ I'm actually a little shocked at how open the dining reservations seem to be. I mean the wicked popular places are full (Le Cellier, California Grill) but most everything else seems to have choices. I'm sure I'll change my plan like 5 times this week as I find better options w/ things I want. |
On a whim, I tried for the Wishes Dessert Party on Easter Sunday!
It was available :cool1: Normally, I wouldn't do the dessert party, but I have a feeling (err know) its going to be a mad house in the Magic Kingdom that day & I rather know I have a seat to enjoy Wishes from. |
Have fun, cant wait to read the reviews and see PICS..lol

That does sound like a good plan! And a desert party . . . especially in front of the castle . . . especially since there are no calories in WDW . . . right??? I hope??? |

I got back yesterday & had a great time! The parks weren't that bad but I've also been enough to know that I need to get to the park before it opens and there is so much I can get done by the time the people that sleep in get to the park. When I got home, I realized it was my 180 days to my October trip! So I made that plan and called to make the reservations. So that is all set now until the F&W Special Events get released at least. I think I only kept 2 of the original ADRs I made but I had no trouble eating where I wanted. The joys of going solo! :woohoo: I'll upload my pictures when I get home from work tonight & get this started! |

Our plan for October (is fluid until special events come out) Oct 1st Dinner - Chick-fil-a or other fast food Oct 2nd - Nothing Planned as we may do the Wine & Dine Half Marathon, if we don't do the Marathon, we'll do Party of the Senses Wine View Room Breakfast - Food Court (haven't booked the value resort for Oct 1st yet) Pool Relaxing Massage (?) Oct 3rd - Nothing planned for morning until we decide on the Half Marathon or not but most likely Hollywood Studios when we wake up Dinner - California Grill MNSSHP Oct 4th - EPCOT Breakfast - Lunch - Coral Reef Dinner - Shula Oct 5th - Animal Kingdom Breakfast - Lunch - Yak & Yeti Dinner - Il Mulino Oct 6th - Downtown Disney/Disney Quest Breakfast Lunch - TRex Dinner - Fulton Oct 7th - Hollywood Studios Breakfast - Cape May Cafe Lunch - Nothing Dinner - Bistro Oct 8th - Magic Kingdom Breakfast - Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner - Citricos Oct 9th - EPCOT Breakfast - Lunch - Tokyo Dining Dinner - Party of the Senses Wine View Room We are staying at the Beach Club so we'll be coming and going from the World Showcase also in the afternoons/evenings. We'll also do some of the wine/food seminars when those are announced. We will only do 1 of the Party of the Senses if we decided against the Half Marathon. If I wasn't with my husband, I wouldn't do the Wine View Room but knowing him - he would hate it where you wander around without a table or the cattle call at the beginning. I think he would enjoy it more to have the assigned seat, the liquor available (he hates wine but is getting better about it) and such and less cranky husbands = happier Dis_Yodas. Breakfasts will probably be in room or at the Marketplace. |
Great Choices!
Can't wait to hear your reviews of those places - especially Jiko and Il Mulino!
|
Signing on! We'll also be arriving 10/9 and probably doing PFTS that night!
|
I'll be there from Oct 2-9. Apparently it's when all the cool kids go :snooty:
