I'm so glad this topic was made! I want to get some ideas of how much Disney Weddings cost. This helps a lot! Thanks! I hope to hear from more people about their Disney Weddings and how much they spent as well.

This info is SO informative!!!!! One of my best friends just got back from her FIRST TRIP to WDW with her fiance and their kids. She has decided to have a WDW Destination Wedding!!!!! She is BEYOND excited. She is going to be calling WDW Wedding Planning tomorrow. These budgets and exactly what you are spending is a great idea of how much hers is going to cost!

She was interested in an Escape Wedding, but MAY have more than 20 people. Will that be a problem? She is also thinking about having a brunch after their ceremony, instead of a dinner. Is that possible?

I am BEYOND excited for her!!!!!! :cheer2:

I also find these threads super helpful! it def helps to see all of the handling fees etc that you may forget to budget for!


Here is what I am looking at for 2010, so far

Wedding part:

Upgraded floral, petals for aisle and to toss 200.00

Photography:
Outside vendor- 6 hours CD only1500.00
MK shoot 1000.00
Videography outside vendor- 1375.00

Luncheon/dinner
OHanas 768.00 (20 people w tip)
or Narcoosees 1935.00

Dessert Party
-this will ne either Welcome party or night of wedding, not sure yet, I feel like Ohanas & DP would be way too much food!

DP view fee (13$pp x 20 guests) 260.00
DP food (28pp x 20 guests) = 560.00
site fee (UK) 325.00
set up fee 75.00
DP photgraphy 350.00

Extra
over 20 guests fee (if we get more rsvps) 500.00

So we are looking at a total budget range of 12408 - 13760for an Escape with everything that we want, we may cut out some extras, it still makes sense for us to so Escape because we want to use outside vendors for video & photos, whereas if we do wishes we would be at the 12k minimum add taxes your at almost 15, then on top of that wed have to add photos & vides with the vendors we want so we would be at 17-20 total with wishes.
Things we may have to cut to make the budget work-
Video
MK shoot
Outside photography

We still need to plan for invites, std's, rings, attire, dress steaming & make-up, accomodations & flights
