This is the thread to celebrate those who have left us. Today Bobby Murcer passed away after a long battle with cancer. RIP Bobby. Thank you for the memories.

he died 26 or so years ago, so lets hope he continues to rest in peace. I was thinking for current deaths like Tony Snow etc.

Dr. Michael DeBakey died Friday at 99. His break-through cardiac by-pass surgery and development of the heart/lung machine has saved millions of lives.

lol well since he was concerned with world peace and its in turmoil he may be rolling in his grave lol!!!

SPC Mark Palmateer, SFC Joseph McKay, SGT Nelson Rameriz, SGT Andrew Seabrooks, and SPC Anthony Mangano all KIA in the last 3 weeks while serving in Afghanistan with 2nd Squadron, 101st Cavalry (RSTA), 42nd ID (Mech), NYARNG. I knew some of them well - one of my old units.

These guys are the real heroes.
