I feel bad for them, they picked a lot of stuff that is no longer going to be there :(

It's kind of fun that they both can be right about Be Our Guest. It is an amazingly themed restaurant that everyone should get to do at least once and has good food too, but it is ridiculously hyped and books at 180+ days. Even with your coveted ADR you usually wait on the bridge for 30 minutes.

I think that is why the key to the previous one was the definition (or ones view of the definition) of "overrated" ... doesn't mean bad, doesn't mean not worth it, just that the hype for something doesn't match the experience (or how Pete put it, that people would say their "vacation was ruined" because they didn't get such, and such)

that is why I didn't get Oliver's picks for that one as how could Stitch be overrated? :confused3

I'd accept Stitch being overrated only because there was a 45 minute wait during our July trip. Sure the parks were packed, but 45 minutes to get belched at?

The Castle projection is the only thing slated to leave, right? (And even that I had no idea about until yesterday).

MSEP is already gone but I don't remember that in their list. I also think a rumor currently in the works is wishes is also changing. @rteetz you're the rumor master, is that accurate?

edited: to be honest I need to listen again to figure out that second thing I heard.

Celebrate the magic is ending November 3rd for a new show called once upon a time which is an adaptation of the Tokyo projection show.

Wishes isn't getting replaced anytime soon. However we should expect a new fireworks show for the 50th.

I still don't really understand the reasoning behind getting rid of the parade? Do you think they're gonna wait until the 50th to do a new one?

Well a few things, Disneyland wanted it to use while PTN is down. They are also sprucing it up. WDW also doesn't want to pay to refurb it. WDW also likes when they don't have to pay for things. If they can get away with no night parade they are going to.

From what I've heard we might see a new parade for 2018

No nighttime parade sucks. I'm planning a trip for first timers this June and I'm really disappointed that there won't be a parade. (Even if I am a heretic who liked Spectromagic better than MSEP.)

I have to admit, mk did feel different last weekend when I was there to catch the fireworks. Also some of my end of night tricks didn't really work as people weren't avoiding things to do and waiting for one of the parades.

I don't miss msep though, WDW borrowed that long enough and it's gone home so we can get something that isn't passed down now.
