Has anyone done this before? They do music, food, and wine and illuminate the Christmas tree. Looks like fun and it's taking place our last night of the trip (staying at Royal Pacific). Around $50/person for regular tickets or $90/person for VIP. For those who have attended in the past, are the VIP tickets worth the extra cost?
 
We've done it twice. Both times we had the ground floor Portofino suite so we didn't feel we needed the VIP tickets. Loved it both times. Food and wine were great. Husband got some cigars. Definitely worth it.

Where did you find info on this? We will be staying at Portofino this Christmas. I've search their website but can't find anything but the most brief description. . . I'd love to see/know more!

Yep, that's the link to it. We usually spent thanksgiving there and did the party afterward. Sorry you will miss it. Keep checking back if you plan on returning. It's held four times a year.
