For the possible beer/champagne trucks at the finish, is it cash only or do they accept magicbands?
Cash, magic bands and credit!

Yeah the parking lot you can sit anywhere, which you might want to check something soft to sit on. There may be beach chairs setup, not sure, but they do for marathon weekend. For meeting there's so many signs we just pick one as a meet up spot, usually not too far past our bag check lettered tent. Two questions since I've never done a RD event before. My friend and I are both doing the half from different corrals. Where is a good meeting place after?
Is there somewhere to sit and stretch after? I will at least bring a golf ball but may put my spiked roller ball massager in my checked bag http://www.gaiam.com/s/gaiam/produc...5-58255.html?gclid=CMiEi77m9M8CFUJqfgodCUUDqg
The two places can be the same or different. Bonus for somewhere I can sit in the shade with something to lean against and maybe catch a cat nap
I read it was something to do with the different county that ESPN is in, Osceola, and not being able to serve alcohol before 10 or 11 on Sunday, so yeah a liquor license thing. They did not have the champagne for Dark Side weekend! Or at least no one could tell me where it was...I am hopeful it was some liquor license thing with WWOS?

For Wine and Dine last year my sister and I borrowed the pool towels to sit/lay on at ESPN while we waited for the start, we had to be at ESPN a couple of hours before the race began. We dropped the towels off at the pool when we got back, it was annoying to run the race with them though. This just hit me - usually I grab a towel from the pool for my hair. Which is very red. And leaks. Lol. Basically, it looks like a crime scene when I was my hair. But, they are smaller and easier to wrap too. Anyways, I wonder how mad Disney would be if I used one of those in the corral like a blanket? One not stained, of course. Lol. And would it somehow make it home...or at least to the correct wash pile.
I don't think it would make it back to the pool, I think it would be donated...so I wouldn't take one. Maybe grab one at Goodwill/Target and bring that instead. This just hit me - usually I grab a towel from the pool for my hair. Which is very red. And leaks. Lol. I could be wrong about this, but I cannot recall seeing generic 10K magnets at the race expos, just the race-specific ones. And like you said, I'm sure the 10K stuff will be hard to come by since it's an inaugural race - but again, I could be wrong.Another newbie q re: merch
I know getting to the expo around 2-3ish Friday gives me a slim to non chance of finding race specific magnets especially with the 10k being inaugural but what are my chances of getting a generic 2016 RunDisney 10k magnet (if they even sell those) especially with this being the last FL weekend and next to last 2016 weekend overall?

Dark Side finished at WWOS... which is a different county than EP... and that county doesn't serve alcohol on Sundays until after 11am. <sad trombone> For the Dark Side 10K, they wanted everyone OUT of the finish area by 10am (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! yes that worked well...), so nothing was being served to avoid lingering.Srsly? That's so strange ... my husband had beers BEFORE W&D last year - and every race I've done that ends at Epcot has a couple of tents/trucks that sell beer and champagne ... Disneyland races are the only ones where they haven't offered post-race cocktails.
IDK how Disney feels about it, but plenty of folks do it!This just hit me - usually I grab a towel from the pool for my hair. Which is very red. And leaks. Lol. Yes, but it can be a challenge, depending on where you are in the corral. The corrals get packed with people, so if you're way up in front, it could be tough to get back out (there's only one entrance/exit per corral, usually at the far end of it.) I prefer to start toward the back of my corral and that usually stays open until we start moving toward the start: much easier to get in and out of it as needed from there.Important newbie bathroom question
Once you're at your designated corral, can you jump in and out and use the porta-potty if needed?
Yeah you can leave your corral, you can't jump over the gates since they recheck your corral letter on your bib every time you enter so as said above it can be a challenge getting out if people are packed in, but it's doable. You may not get back to your spot near the front though if you wanted to make sure you had a front spot. Some people can et a little pushy shovey in the corral but for the most part people let you pass.Important newbie bathroom question

Nope. In a facebook group someone called and were told we would get it at the expo. So, who knows, I figure if I have nothing by the time I fly out in a week I'm getting it at the expo.I am sure this has already been covered, but I didn't see it as I was reading....
It says in the events guide that the after party tickets would be mailed to the address on our active accounts. Has anyone received an after party ticket?

Yes, a nervous bladder here too! I just don't want to upset anyone and make sure I'm doing things correctly. You can. I am constantly nervous of needing to use one so in April I hopped out twice I think. A lot of people hop the fence. I was terrified of that so I did that getting out (insanely slowly it was probably hilarious) and then when I got back I found my corral and walked on the outside of it until there was a break or slip in the fence. It is definitely not easy, and sometimes people think you are trying to just skip corrals. But hey. Nature calls!!
