Anyone know why there's currently no scrapbooks for sale in the park shops? Previously we've always bought one but this year there's nothing. Just photo albums and notebooks but no scrapbooks.
Where in Disney Spring did you see them?I don't remember seeing scrapbooks in parks during our last trip in May. However, there were scrapbooks and scrapbooking kits still on sale down in Disney Springs Marketplace.
But, as HopperFan suggests, ask a CM first.
I am guessing they have been phased out with all the digital photo sites now. I used to be a BIG scrapbooker. And it just has become harder and harder over the years to find the products and the ease of digital photos and online sites for books has overcome. People just do not seem to scrapbook anymore
My daughter and I love to scrap. There are still some great websites to buy scrapbooking supplies from and a few have sections just on Disney stuff.I started scrapbooking in 1999 before there was much of anything in stores besides Mrs. Grossman's stickers. I watched it peak in the early 2000's, then noticed a big drop after the housing collapse. I think people just had less fun money to play with. I think you're right about digital scrapping having a big impact, but I also think digital cutters have had a huge impact on the hobby. No need to buy embellishments when you have a digital cutter and a variety of cardstock. It's a shame. While I love my cutter, I really miss browsing in scrapbook shops.
On the up side, I have enough supplies to scrap for years to come without buying anything else. But dang, I would sure love some new Disney albums.
Yes. I still do....but have to be in mood. I've been doing mostly baby ones as gifts but after my November trip, I'm planning to do few on my trip with my sons.People still do scrap-booking? I thought that was a phase a decade ago? I'm surprised WDW still has photo albums for sale!
Sometimes stuff shows up on Amazon - try there?

I used to spend RIDICULOUS amounts of money on Creative Memories. 2002-2007 were my most concentrated scrapping years. I have SO MANY supplies still stored. I always thought I would get back into it someday. It just has not yet happened.
