Hello!!:fish::duck:

I haven't been here on the dis for a long time, i got a bit down after my last trip to DLP in March 2015, as i knew that would have been my last for a little while as i was getting married and planning on having another baby then heading back to DLP, WELL..... i have got married end of last year, and now I'm the proud mama bear of 2 new babies! yes, twins :) if any of you on Facebook, you prob seen the picture i posted of them not so long ago. They are now 9 weeks old, and I'm just getting back into some sort of routine and normal life, well as much as i can now that i have 3 kids!!

Anyways its now time to plan our return trip to DLP, money wise, we only have my husbands wage coming in, so we will only manage DLP once a year now compared to 2 or 3 times it use to be. But hey thats ok, as the oldest is at school now.
We want to go for Halloween, so october 2017,babies will be 14 months, so plan was Hotel New York, as thats my favourite, but seeing posts on Facebook today, that Hotel New York is closed for 15 months during 2017 :mad: so whats Newport Bay like? never stayed there, and its the only hotel that I've never even visited as its kinda out the way if your not passing it to go to another hotel. Ive tried looking at the hotels thered, but its all code, none of the pictures are working, anyone any pictures, stories, reviews on the hotel? Depending on the price etc, we *might* go for a suite, but only if the price is good, we don't really need that or a bigger room as such, as we are a family of 5, we can have a normal standard room and 1 baby being classed as an infant for a cot.

Also does anyone know when October 2017 dates will pop up to book? I've been waiting ages to book, but it never seems to come :guilty:

One word: Exquisite.

I will only only stay there now when I visit DLP (my budget cant stretch to Disneyland Hotel)

As it is the biggest hotel on property it never feels like it is busy.

Book it - you won't regret it.

Hello :wave2:

Nice to see you back - congratulations on your wedding and new babies! You must be so busy :goodvibes

I've never stayed at NPB but the photos of the recent refurb do look nice and it now as a 4 key rating (same as HNY). Previous grumbles about NPB used to be about the size of the hotel and that it could be quite a trek to your room depending on where you are located - but I think the new Compass Club rooms are in a more central area. There are lots of pictures on Trip Advisor and online if you search - it does look lovely.

No date has been announced yet for when HNY will close, I assume it will be once the Cheyenne refurb is complete, so might not be next year - may go into 2018.
We're staying at HNY again in a couple of weeks again - need to start thinking about where we will stay once is shuts too :scared1:

Happy planning :goodvibes
