Using magical express after checking into room before dropping car at airport

We will have a rental for a few beach days before WDW. We would like to check in, drop our luggage, baby supplies, bottled water, etc at our Disney hotel, return the rental to the airport and then take Magical Express back to the resort. Is that allowed? I know people who have dropped the car off at the airport and then used magical express but they had not checked into their room first.

That's fine, you get one trip each way. It's not connected to your checkin, I've had friends arrive 2 or 3 days after I checked in and used it.

You don't a have to go, just the driver. I once took DME to the resort, then back to the airport the next day to pick up the rental car.

Who are you renting from?
Why not just return the car to a location near Disney. Alamo is onsight. Avis is at the Hilton by DS. Dollar is at the Wyndham at DS. Or a lot of the companies will drive you back to the resort if they are not within walking distant to DS. This is what we have done when we need a oneway rental. The only company that charges a drop off fee in Florida that I know of is Dollar and they where charging $35.
This would save the 35 minute drive to the airport. The time it takes drop the car make you way to the DME. Wait for the DME to leave the airport and another 50 minutes it may take to get to your resort. So you are looking at at right around 2 hours to drop the car off at the airport.

I would have driver drop off passengers and supplies at resort, then head back to the airport with the car. Passengers can check in, set up room, etc. Driver will be back within about 2 hours - shortly after all the hard work is done. So, you can start your vacation as soon as driver gets back on ME :)

Thrifty has charged a one way fee in Florida.
And sometimes I have found the quoted price does change (daily rate, not a drop fee) if you enter two different locations versus picking up/returning to the same location. Not all the time, but it has happened to me when I have played with the rental company's website.
