Stitchs great escape is going seasonal

Have you seen the Monsters Inc ride at DL (well, disney's california adventure)? It's.. really not great. We were at DCA on a 7 day and Monsters Inc was a walk on. And it truly was a 7 day. Cali screamin was an hour wait 45 minutes after park opening and Toy Story Mania was 45-50 minutes even early in the day. There's a lot more they could've done in that dark ride and you can tell it was a cheap out cover for superstar limo. They tried with what they were given, but ehhh.

I'd love to see a Wreck-It Ralph ride. I feel like that movie was really underappreciated all said and told. It had a lot of heart. I recently watched Lilo and Stitch finally after having never seen it and, while it was alright, I found Stitch to just be kind of annoying until halfway (or a little more) through the movie. Stitch ride was going to be a walking break for us, so I don't really mind it being down while we're there. I'm sorry for all yall who are gonna miss out though. Turning tomorrowland speedway into a sugar rush ride would be Incredible. Speaking of, I'm still really surprised there's nothing Incredibles. I know it's an older IP, but with a sequel maybe coming out in the next few years (I mean we do have a tentative 2019 release date), I'd expect a little love toward that area too considering they just did absolutely nothing with it way back when. Or there was a dance party, or something. Which, meh.

I had no idea, I've never been to DL or DCA, I just always thought a Monsters Inc ride was a neat idea (I am not a huge fan of Laugh Floor. I like it, but don't love it). I guess that's why I don't hear much about it lol.

It's ultimately a great idea and a fantastic IP, but they cheaped out on it like every other ride in DCA.
here's a ridethrough for you.

I realize that some might say I walk to the beat of a different drum, but I am going to miss the Stitch ride. It was so off beat for Disney that it worked for me. Kinda Like Steampunk

Never a Stitch fan at all but still would like it to be open until they officially decide/announce that another attraction is coming.

Do they really save that much having an attraction like this closed???

I am a DL/DCA every month kinda girl and I do really enjoy the monsters ride. It's fun and playful. The fact that it is a walk on makes it that much better!

Yes, when the cast members running the attraction sometimes outnumber the guests inside, it's not the most efficient use of labor. Okay, maybe exaggerating a little bit, but the cost per guest is still way out of line from the norm.
