Marathon Weekend 2017!

First, a question. I think I know the answer, but wanted to confirm. When I've registered in the past for runDisney events, I think they have asked whether I'm running as part of a coast-to-coast. When I registered for the 2016 DL Super Heroes half, they only asked if I'm running in Paris. This made me a little nervous. We'll be coast-to-coast eligible after running the 2016 PHM and now the 2016 Super Heroes Half. But they didn't ask during registration. They should know this and give us the wristbands at the DL expo in November, right?

91. The Land

(That's for our 17-year-old who believes The Land is completely underrated and gets no love - was thrilled to see LWTL as a Tier I FP+ offering. Also, many of my favorite beverages have already been mentioned.)

They just know - Disney Magic!

Got an email from runDisney this morning - they already processed my transfer! Way faster than I expected...I'll feel relieved to get the Goofy registration back. :) Now I'm wondering what happens to the Goofy Challenge pin bundle I purchased at registration...:scratchin

Back in 2013, I switched from the Marathon to Goofy. I thought it would cancel my pin bundle, too, so I opted to buy the pin bundle when I did the registration for the Goofy. Long-story-short (too late?), I ended up getting 4 pin bundles that year. So, my money is on the you receiving the pin bundle you purchased at the initial registration.

Thank you!! I have email confirmation of purchasing it, so I'd better get it!!

Posting here because it's such an active group with lots of runDisney experience! And because feedback can be relevant to marathon weekend, too. Just registered "last minute" for Disneyland Super Heroes Half. Running with my 17-year-old son. I always run in running clothes inspired by a certain character, but never an actual costume. He has and will run in costume, including head-to-toe Lumiere and a full length Elsa dress and wig before they changed the rules. But that's for 5Ks. For half marathons, he's run with a Sebastian the Crab hat but otherwise regular running clothes.

So the question: Option A is he's Captain America and I'm Wonder Woman. Likely to be comfortable, but not very creative and WW isn't Disney/Marvel. Then he suggested Option B: he's Edna Mode and I'm Mrs. Incredible. I love this idea, but not sure about the implementation. Edna Mode would be black tech shirt and shorts, with a wig and glasses. A wig and glasses for 13.1 - not sure.

DD26 and I were Mrs. Incredible and Edna Mode for Princess this year! She was Edna, wore a black sparkle skirt and blk tech shirt, with round lens-less glasses she got on Amazon and for the scarf she used a cooling towel. She was super cute and 2 different people in the crowd shouted out "I love Edna" to her during the race. She did not wear a wig and just wore her hair in a pony tail and people could still tell, especially since I was running with her as Mrs. Incredible.

Love this!!! I agree it's completely clear that she's Edna - so cute!

I'm gonna do it...because it is new and not as well known but worthy of attention.
