Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

PP was in refurb when we were there last time so it's new to us! We may indeed want to try it more than once :) Thanks guys!

My FP plan is such a mess!! I did have fun playing around with the Touring Plans personalized plans - those are really cool. Nice to see it all laid out on how much time things will take and mapping it out. It was really helpful in picking Fast Passes. I'm still super nervous!!

I'm working on mine right now! It's taking me awhile to go through my MK days, I haven't even started on the other parks as far as final touring plans go. I've done some work on them earlier in my planning stages, but now that fastpass day is nigh, I'm afraid I need to work harder at them!

I'm hoping to see the PP queue this year - we had a FP for it and the littlest loved it like me, the oldest and DH were "meh". I'm planning to head to PP at RD or right after BOG dinner/SDMT if we get a ride on it our first MK day.

no appreciation for classic disney rides! Some people.

Good thing I'm in charge of planning!

In my experience with them - the muffin part gets hard when you cook them after they've thawed wrong. Like inedible hard. My 7yo loves those things and I maaaay have accidentally put one in the fridge instead of freezer.

I've read people who have made mini quiches and such then froze them and packed in their luggage...if you want to go that route It might not give you food poisoning lol
I didn't freeze eggs last year but I packaged up individual meals, vacuum saver & froze them. Took them out the morning we left and they were still frozen when we got to hotel. Since they were in baggies they fit nicely in the fridge. I did however buy produce, eggs, milk and water from garden grocer. The prices were a bit high but not nearly as high as a dozen eggs from the food court. I did make chocolate "donuts" and took those along too. Same plan of attack this year. I will chip away at my ADR to get about 1 a day meal out (sometimes 2 depending on the day). That's the only way we can make it without the DP. DH & DD are regular eaters and eat meat & 3 style. He weighs out both their food and serves protein, carb, veggie & fat. I swear she looks at the sun's position and starts asking when we are going to feed her.

I just said DH has no earthly idea what kind of planning goes into this trip!! We did PP last year. DD loves PP now so think she will actually enjoy the ride this year. Its a small world is on my radar. It had a crazy long line last year. Well crazy long for us.. 20 min would do DD/DH in. Hoping to get it this year.

I actually went through some old photos and found one of my brother and I at River Country circa 1985. The good ole days of Disney. I remember just "running into" Mickey and hating 20,000 leagues.

I LOVED 20,000 leagues! haha :)

I also really miss Mr Toad and Body Wars. Ahhh the good old days ;)

Catching up for the night so here goes my long multi quote. But first if anyone is staying at CBR I can deliver from Walmart on Nov 27!

My kids smell a snack from miles away and are starving. I'm afraid for the teenage years with my 2 boys!

I hear ya...3 boys here and we homeschool so they are always home and want to eat when they are bored! Good thing they will be hunting for their own meat in a few years.

My son just is 23 and when he comes up and stays with us, he still eats a ton and then takes food home. I've seen him have several platefuls of dinner. It's amazing.

DH is 38 and owns a lawn care biz. Every time he mows his parents house he raids their kitchen!

Speaking of old Disney - check this one out, my family in like 1986 by the fountains outside of the tiki room. I'm the youngest.

My dad's shorts though. And muscle tee. And mustache. LOL

This is great and good to know that even back then parents fed their kids bagged cereal so they could afford to go to Disney! Seriously we live so frugally that when I tell people we are going to Disney again they are shocked we can do it. ;) Well, we probably shouldn't be doing it but I can't resist.
