Official 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Thread

The new balance virtual queue is showing a special for Dumbo runners. 30% off the Dumbo Adult Vazee shoes. You must show your Dumbo bib OR waiver with ID to get the discount and you must be signed up as a Dumbo runner. Does anyone remember how much these were at full price? I might end up doing this!

I bought the Dumbo shoes at WDW weekend. I didn't remember the exact price but just went to look it up, $139.95.
 
Anyone doing any special 'dress up' for the expo? My Lularoe Disney Castle (inspired) leggings arrived and I'm going to wear them tomorrow when I pick up my bib. Felt like it added a little something extra to the weekend. Disneyland half weekend... might as well wear the castle on the your pants :)

Also - I am so amused that now people could be picking up their merch and race shirts before Disney officially announces it! :P

Thank you for the reminder! I had set an alarm for 7pm but totally forgot what it was for. lol all queued up! Where did you see the special? I didn't see that advertised...
 
I ordered a couple of shirts from Raw Threads last Monday hoping they would be here before I left on Friday (since shipping says 5-7 days I thought I was safe doing that instead of expo pick-up). Yesterday I e-mailed asking if I could switch to expo pick-up because they hadn't shipped yet, and of course an hour after I send my e-mail I get a shipping notification. Funny timing that... Now they won't be here until Saturday. :guilty:

And clearly I'm deprived, without 50 other running shirts I could wear!

ugh I know! I keep going back and forth about if I actually need another pair of Disney shoes or if I want to spend that $100 elsewhere in the parks this weekend!
