Alcove Tables at Enchanted Garden

It's fun being the envy of other cruisers that's for sure. Everyone else has responded wonderfully about the seating challenges for these seats. They are more secluded, so that is nice. Others have mentioned being seated there for breakfast or lunch. Be aware that that 'section' of seats may not be open when you arrive. Like a land restaurant, the staff arrrival times stagger to meet crowd demand, so the section isn't always opened.

We didn't find them that secluded. You're right in the middle of the room, with lots of traffic coming in and out, servers coming from the kitchen to serve others, and people stopping by the fountain in the middle of the room for photos. It felt more claustrophobic to me, as you can't see half the dining room while seated there.

Sorry this photo is a little blurry, but you get the idea

Sure, I can see that take on it. I guess I should say that as long as you aren't at the tables next to the podium..... Those folks can see a lot of foot traffic. Secluded to mean sheltered or private, in terms that once the meal begins you see less movement than other tables out on the floor. Instead of hearing all of your fellow passengers, I found it easy to hear my travel partner, vs our other table.

Darn, that's disappointing. For some reason I've been obsessed with eating in one of those since the Dream was unveiled! Is EG open every day for breakfast or lunch? Could I sneak in there one day with just the DH to have a meal so I could cross it off my list?

EG is usually open for lunch the first day and sometimes breakfast or lunch on other days.

We have eaten there during breakfast and lunch and when we check in at the podium just asked if we could have one of the round booth-things.

My wife and I got to sit at one for dinner one night on our last cruise when the family that normally sat there went somewhere else for dinner. Our server asked us if we wanted to try it and we jumped at the opportunity. We thought it was great! Plenty of space for the two of us, and we really enjoyed seeing things from the center of the dining room that we had never had a good view of from tables further out.
