Hi!
I am about to book a cruise aboard the navigator. It will be myself, DH and our 2 little girls (15 months and 5 years at the time of sailing). MY question is from what I've read and looked up for the ship, there is no baby splash pool or kids water park or anywhere else for my baby to play in other than the kids club? There is a good deal right now for that sailing, so I was hoping it would be suitable for my kids. Is it worth it to go with another ship, say Independence of the seas?

I don't remember a baby splash area on the Navigator. The Independence definitely has a large splash area which is really nice.

(Just a FYI for the 15 month old, not judging or assuming ) They used to be really strict about having only potty trained kids in the pools. I'm not saying someone is going to come kick you out of the pool, but I also would not rule it out.

I had great experiences on both ships. But if having a splash area to play is a big deal for you then I would definitely lean towards Independence. My kids had an awesome time. The splash park was a daily mandatory activity.

Oh I didn't realize toddlers wouldn't be allowed in the splash area...
Do you remember if there were any play areas for toddlers?

I came back from a trip on the navigator last week. I would definitely choose a ship with a splash pool. My 2 year old isn't potty trained yet and couldn't use the pool. There definitely isn't a splash pool on the navigator and so we ended up having to put him in nursery to keep him occupied. There was a room near the teen lounge with a few bits of toys but they were pretty poor. Sorry probably not the answer you were looking for but I'd hate you to waste your money.

I would ask a question like "what pools have splash areas for toddlers who aren't potty trained" over on the Royal board on cruisecritic. Although many of us here are also over there, the hive-mind there has ALL the info in the world about Royal and their ships.
