Accessing MK on MNSSHP night?

Got tickets for 9/11. I know we can't get in until 4PM but I was wondering, is it the normal for people to line up at the gates like they do for opening? We always have already been in the park so we never had to enter the moment it started.

Yes, there will be people lining up to enter at 4.

OK, what time does everyone suggest getting there so we don't have long to wait?

We had 2:15 reservations at Kona Cafe for a late lunch, and then we changed into our costumes at the hotel and then took the boat across, so I think we arrived sometime around 3:30-3:45? There were several gates ready for party guests so we waited a little bit but it didn't seem excessively long.

People start hanging around outside the gates pretty early, but the lines don't start forming until around 3:30. They usually start processing people through a little before 4. It'll be a decent crowd by then, but not like a morning rope drop crowd.

Should be totally fine. People may be hanging out near the right side of the tap points for entry, which is where they will let you in for the party. Just hang out and get in the lines when they start to form.

We have a SDMT fastpass that ends at 4:20. If we arrive at 3:30 is that going to allow enough time to get there?

I'd probably make sure you were one of the first through the gates, depending on the crowd, it can take 20 min just to get to Mine Train.
