I had the opportunity last year to go to DL solo for 3 days, and it was awesome! Next month I am going to WDW for 3 days, 2 will be solo.

Will be going to HS on a Friday afternoon with DH at about 4 and staying for EMH. Saturday, MK is open 8-12. Here is my dilemma. I am one who loves to soak in all the atmosphere and enjoy all the details. I know it will be pretty hot and humid in a couple of weeks. I know I can go to several attractions in the heat of the afternoon to stay cool and rest up. I bring a backpack and put it in a locker so I can change clothes and freshen up around 5ish, or just plan on going back to the resort, FQ and rest up. I know it can take awhile going back and forth.

Sunday will be EP, and possibly AK depending on if they have evening entertainment.

I know I have over analyzed what to do Saturday, but thought I would ask the solo travelers what their experience may have been, which may help me decide how to plan.

I'm just leaving from my 3rd solo trip, had an awesome time! Only having 4 days, I really didn't want to spend much time away from the parks, so I contemplated not going back to the room to save an hour or two. I ended up going back to the room everyday for at least an hour. It was wonders to take a shower and put on fresh clothes, take a quick power nap, and just be in a cool, quiet, semi dark place. If I hadn't done it, there's no way I would have made it out as late as I did each night (or I would have been extremely crabby or sleepy). Solo traveling makes things like this easier because you can make the decision that's best for you. But I'd say with the heat, you're going to need that down time

I go to Disney often if you guys ever want to hang out with Someone other than Mickey...I'm down. My favorite resort would have to be Fort Wilderness, love the golf carts :) but I stay at PoP mostly because it's cheaper this time of year. I always go back to the room mid day too, you need a smoke break lol.

`i love going back to the room mid day, but it shouldn't be too terrible end of october if that is when you're going. low/mid 80's during the day and mid 60's at night
