Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

Does anyone know what the charge for 6 or 12 packs of beer and water in the store at the resort cost? I don't really need anything else in the room but would like to have those 2 things cold each day a but need to know if it is worth it to get a cab to somewhere off site.

Dec 2014 a 6 pack of Bud Light was $15 at Panchitos.

We are staying here for one night in October, prior to a cruise. I have always avoided CSR because of the convention center (I dislike corporate BS, especially on vacation!). But I can tolerate it for just one night, and look forward to seeing the resort. My teen kids will like the pool, it looks beautiful!

It felt like a goth convention when we were there this past winter during the Paul Mitchell convention with all the black clothing and rainbow hair colors so you never know if it will feel corporate. It is a beautiful, relaxing resort and we will be staying there again this fall. Have fun!

Is the coffee that comes with the maker in the rooms complimentary? I don't want to drink it and then have it charged to my room! Haha.

The pool is off the hook. Photos don't do it justice. Also the second largest on property after SAB. Can watch DHS fireworks from the pool.

Water has been out at the entire resort for the last 3 hours. They have no estimate of when it will be back on.

We had no phone for 5 days in building 1 (Casitas preferred) because a non-Disney contractor couldn't get their act together to fix it. Caused a few problems but nothing major. When water went out, though, it was really a challenge (as in, no flushing toilets resort wide.) We complained at the front desk and the guest experience manager, finding out that our phone still hadn't gotten fixed either, comped us one of our clearly discounted nights (we used the Back to School 30% offer for a standard room) at RACK rate for a preferred room (we were pixie dust upgraded while we were on DME.) We had already decided on this, our first stay at CSR, that this was our "home" resort, we liked it so much. But that pretty much sealed the deal.

Hi everyone! Very excited to be heading back to CSR in just 25 days for my - I think - 7th stay! It all started on Friday with a girls' shopping day for my sister and me, talking about wanting to go to Disney, she saying she wants to go to a MNSSHP, and us plotting. We got our husbands to agree and of course my kids were on board (her kids are grown), so we booked on Saturday. We're just doing a very quick weekend trip - one of the advantages to living in Florida and being just a car-ride away.

We did online check-in tonight and picked Ranchos because we probably won't visit El Centro anyway, and would like to be one of the earlier bus-stops.

Looking forward to browsing the last pages of the thread to see if anything is new since we were there almost 2 years ago!

Congrats on your trip!

I've been searching for info about the bus stops at CSR and have been reading conflicting reports. As this is your 7th stay there I figured who better to ask than you. What order do the buses start picking up guests in the morning? Is bus the bus stop near the front of the resort the first, then continue clockwise around the resort? Meaning 1st stop by the lobby, followed by Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas. Hopefully my question makes sense. TIA.

Buses going to the parks get picked up in this order.......Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, then El Centro (main building). They generally get dropped off the same way, though we did stop at El Centro first on our way back from a park one evening.

We are staying in Cabanas right now and we are really close to the Cabanas bus stop. In the morning I hop on the bus to go to the main building. It is very chaotic by the EL Centro bus stop in the morning. Sometimes buses are so crowded, not everyone can get on. I would be very frustrated trying to do this. Avoid this bus stop in the morning if you can.

Every time we have been there, the park buses pick up the first guests at Casitas, then Ranchos, Cabanas, then El Centro. Our most recent visit just less than 2 years ago was our first time in the Casitas and it was so nice to be first! The confusing thing is that the stops are numbered differently than they pick up. El Centro is labeled "Bus Stop #1" even though it's usually last. Casitas is #2, etc. The only time it's different is that the buses to Disney Springs do start at El Centro and go 1, 2, 3, 4. All the park buses go 2, 3, 4, 1.

Thank you so much!

Park buses stop at stops 2 (Casitas), 3 (Ranchos), 4 (Cabanas), and 1 (El Centro.) Disney Springs Buses stop at El Centro first, then stops 2, 3, and 4. The idea is to allow you to take a theme park bus to El Centro and a Disney Springs bus back to your room.Since El Centro is last for the park buses, to do a rope drop, you need to be waiting a good hour in advance to make sure you get on the bus. Sometimes you have to wait for one or more full buses in the morning, especially MK buses.
