Have an upcoming trip next month at Bay Lake next month with a two year old (first time ever taking a child). We were thinking about going to the grocery store after our plane lands ( around noon) but before the 4 o'clock check-in time.

Has anyone put into storage frozen foods at BLT for any period of time? Can BLT even handle this or is it something that they have to do at the contemporary? How was your experiencie in doing this?

Any comments/advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We stayed at BLT 2 weeks ago. I ordered groceries from Garden Grocer, including Klondike bars and some frozen dinners. They delivered to the resort at 4pm, we landed at 5pm and got to the resort at 6:30 or so. Bell services brought up the groceries around 7pm, everything was fine--no melting of the Klondikes!

All the Bell Services areas have fridge and freezers right there. We've had fresh/frozen stuff delivered at SSR, AKV, and BLT without any problems.

I've had them store perishables ( Milk, Hot Pockets, Toaster Strudle) for about five hours with no issue.

We done something similar, buying the groceries and having Bell Services at BLT hold them until we can get in the room. Everything that needs to be refrigerated or frozen is at the proper temperature.

Do not trust bell services at BLT. I had about $75 worth of frozen groceries ruined because they did not bring them to my room. Just let them sit there in the hot Florida sun for an hour.
If you have to, steal the cart & take to your room yourselves.

We also had a bad experience with our perishable items not getting refrigerated, even though the bellman assured us they would be. We arrived at 4pm and our room was not ready until 6 pm, we called for our bags to be brought up, and when they arrived the bellman, not the same person, to us it was not refrigerated and that he would not trust it and told us a manager would contact us to replace all items and that never happened.

Bummer to read they aren't consistent with proper handling! I'm wanting to do similar to OP. What do people find the best way to mark/label your groceries, if not a delivered order, to assure yours don't get lost? Does Bell service do this for you, or should I bring something?

Did you follow up and get ignored? We fortunately have store refrigerated and frozen foods many times at multiple resorts without a problem.
