25th Anniversary Celebrations - How Long?

Hello you lovely people you. Yes you. I'm talking to you. You're lovely.

Anyway, I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on the length of time the 25th anniversary celebrations would take place for. If we assume it's going to start on 1st April 2017 (I can't remember actual date, so lets just use this as an example!), would we be safe to assume that the celebrations will continue until 31st March 2018? At least? Longer? lol I know the 20th anniversay was dragged out.... What do you think? Especially those of you who are long term DLP veterans....

We're not going to be able to make it to DLP ANY time in 2017, but we're hoping to go over in the new year 2018. (There's a slim chance of a December 2017 trip, but no guarantee... long story and mostly irrelevant to this post!). But we'd obviously like to be there for the 25th celebrations at some point!

They spend 2 years celebrating the 20th anniversary. As they're revamping several rides for the 25th anniversary I think it would be safe to assume they'll take at least a year to celebrate this milestone. :)
 
I can't give any info on DLP because I've never been to an anniversary celebration there, but DLR is spending 15 months on their 60th anniversary (May 2015 to September 2016). I would think it's safe to assume that it will spill over into the next year, especially since they are doing so many refurbs in anticipation of the event.
 


I expect the 25th anniversary will last for 24 months from April 2017 - April 2019. But knowing DLP they will try and stretch it out a little further until the summer season of 2019.
 
I feel the same, I remember catching the 15th celebrations twice - October 2007 and August 2008, so sure they'll make it last the two years. :thumbsup2 Can't wait until next year, it will be our first trip for five years, I have so missed the place.
 


Yes, I think it will be at least 18 months too. The last celebrations went on sometime! The parades seemed to be around for at least 3 of our trips at one point and we had a fair amount of time between the trips!! :rolleyes1 It's a massive investment though, so they want to squeeze every last euro of value out of it, which is understandable.
 
Does anyone know any of the 25th anniversary details yet?

We're going to be booking for April 2017 shortly
 
Reckon it'll be 2 years maybe bit longer, im going in march 2017, so i just miss the beginning, so im gona try squeeze an christmas trip in hopefully so i can get it :) xx
 
It'll be very busy that day, but if the 20th Anniversary is anything to go by there will be special events and entertainment that day that you won't see any other time.
